Whether you are a serious collector or a casual browser, Peachtree & Bennett offers multiple buying opportunities to suit your style. Our Live and Online auctions are the main event, full of excitement and drama for both bidders and viewers. And shoppers who prefer a retail setting can browse our constantly-changing selections at the Scott Antiques Market.
In-house Registration
The registration process is free and easy, requiring only a photo ID. A registration form can be obtained at the desk. You will be assigned a bidding number for each sale, and all purchases will be recorded under this number.
Absentee & Phone Bidding Services
Absentee bidding is the most affordable option for those unable to attend an auction, with overall savings of about 5 percent compared to online bidding. Absentee and phone bids can be placed directly with us: click here. Bids may also be placed through our online catalog, by simply creating an account.
Live Online Bidding Services
Bidders who prefer the convenience of the internet and wish to either preview or bid on our lots may do so using their preferred auction site. We post full-color online catalogues of our sales on invaluable.com, Liveauctioneers.com, and Auctionzip.com.
Auction Showroom
Our monthly auctions, which occur on the second weekend of every month, are conveniently held at our prime location at the Atlanta Expo Center, also known as the Scott Antique Markets Atlanta. All merchandise is in house and available for viewing, as well as being featured in a descriptive full-color auction catalogue. Adding to the enjoyment of the evening, we offer an open bar and a complimentary buffet to registered bidders.
Auction Previews
Previews include every item to be auctioned and are held for as many as three days prior to the auction. Our knowledgeable staff is on hand to educate prospective buyers about items of interest and help them make an informed decision about their bids. Buyers may also obtain a condition report for any item by calling 678-705-9736 or emailing bid@upusc.org.
Newcomers
Auctions move quickly and can seem intimidating to new participants. For those who are unfamiliar with the auction procedure, a UPUSC staff member will be made available to coach you through the process and provide all the information you need to become comfortable with the theatre of auction. Registered bidders are not required to bid. Come watch the action while enjoying our complimentary bar and buffet, and then jump into bidding when you are ready.
Scott Antique Market
In addition to our auction venue, UPUSC permanently occupies thirteen booths at the popular Scott Antique Markets, held on the second weekend of every month. You can find our booths at the front of the North Building. Scott’s Market is the largest antique flea market in the country,with over 3,000 dealers represented every month.
Peachtree & Bennett is the largest presence at the market by a wide margin. We offer fresh items every month, drawn from major estates in Connecticut, New York City, Atlanta, and the surrounding vicinities. It is an ideal venue for people looking for treasures, rare and unique items, and an enjoyable afternoon outing.
